*CSEC Mathematics can be used to meet the mathematics requirement for Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Kinesiology.
Minimum Requirements
- Your CAPE unit #2 predicted, or final grades are used for admission consideration along with your CSEC Certifying Statements (as issued by CXC).
- A minimum of five academic subjects are required for admission:
- Three courses at the CSEC level; and
- At least two courses at the CAPE unit #2 level.
- Two CAPE unit #1 courses may be substituted for one CAPE unit #2 course except where a specific CAPE unit #2 course is required.
- Applicants without unit #2 can only be considered for Arts programs and the BA Psychology programs.
- A minimum average of V is required for all honours programs.
To clear conditions final official CSEC and CAPE certifying statement sent directly from CXC will be required.
- To request transcripts go to www.cxc.org, find the 'I Request' section on the home page and click 'Request Transcripts'. You will be prompted to login and can request a transcript be sent directly to Laurier.

Notes
- You may receive transfer credits (up to the equivalent of six courses) once your final CAPE unit #2 certifying statements have been received and depending on your program.
- To be eligible for transfer credits:
- CAPE unit #2 courses must be at a minimum grade of III (3)
- Transfer credit will be awarded once we have received either your final official certifying statements, or final official provisional certifying statements directly from CXC. We will not award transfer credits based on predicted or unofficial grades.
